IN THIS COUPLE'S DOWN-HOME WEDDING

When
a North Carolina girl meets and marries a native German, the ensuing
wedding is bound to be distinctive. This was the case for Monica
Munn of Charlotte and Bernd Schreml of Germany. Their union called
for a unique celebration, quintessentially Southern but peppered with
colorful German folk traditions. Even the couple's wedding
invitations, printed in two languages, symbolized the melding of
their cultures. Though their courtship took place in Germany, Monica wanted a Southern |
